1. Introduction and Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how SportsHL LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company located at 30 N. Gould St., Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“SportsHL,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies, web beacons, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), and similar technologies on the sportshl.com website and our related mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. The Platform is intended strictly for adults who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and located in the United States.

2. What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies?

Cookies. Small text files placed on your browser or device that let a website remember your session, settings, and activity.

Web beacons / pixels. Tiny graphics embedded in pages or emails that record engagement, such as page views, email opens, and click-through paths.

SDKs. Software development kits integrated into our mobile applications that collect device and usage information in place of browser cookies.

Local storage. Browser- or device-based storage used to retain preferences and improve performance.

Mobile advertising identifiers. Resettable device identifiers, such as Apple’s IDFA and the Google Advertising ID, used (with your permission) to measure advertising.

3. First-Party and Third-Party Technologies

First-party technologies are set by SportsHL to operate the Platform. Third-party technologies are set by our service providers and partners — for example, analytics, advertising, and affiliate-network providers, and the providers of embedded media (YouTube/Google, X, and Instagram/Meta). This Cookie Policy does not govern third parties’ own use of data, which is described in their respective privacy policies (see the table in Section 5).

4. Categories of Cookies and Technologies We Use

Strictly necessary / essential. Required to operate the Platform. Includes session management, security, load balancing, your consent choices, and your spoiler-free score-hidden and click-to-reveal selections. These cannot be disabled through our controls.

Performance and analytics. Used to understand how the Platform is used. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, non-identifying metrics such as page-load speed, visit duration, and navigation paths.

Functional. Remember your preferences and layout to provide a more personalized experience.

Targeting and advertising. Used to measure and optimize our marketing. We use the TikTok Pixel and similar marketing scripts to evaluate user-acquisition campaigns.

Affiliate attribution. Set by affiliate clearinghouses — Impact Radius, CJ Affiliate, and ShareASale — to record a pseudonymized click identifier and timestamp when you click an external link, so SportsHL can be credited a referral commission. These do not capture your billing, banking, or card data.

Email pixels. Embedded in our email communications to record opens, the environment used, and click-through paths so we can measure and improve our messaging.

Third-party embedded media. Because the Platform displays native, unaltered embeds via the YouTube API Services and embedded X and Instagram content, those providers may set cookies to stream media, count views, and preserve playback settings.

5. Cookie and Technology Inventory

The table below summarizes the principal providers whose technologies may operate on the Platform and where you can learn more. Specific cookies may change over time as we update the Platform.

6. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies. Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser.

Persistent cookies. Remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them, and let us recognize your device on return visits. Durations vary by purpose, from a single session to several months.

7. Mobile Applications and Advertising Identifiers

Our mobile applications use SDKs and log files rather than browser cookies to recognize your device and measure usage. We use mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or the Google Advertising ID) only where permitted — on iOS, only if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can reset or limit these identifiers, and manage app permissions, at any time through your device privacy settings.

8. How to Manage Your Cookies and Choices

Browser controls. Most browsers let you refuse, restrict, or delete cookies and notify you when a cookie is set. Settings vary by browser; see your browser’s help menu.

Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

In-product and consent controls. Where offered, you can adjust your cookie and tracking choices through the consent controls on the Platform.

Mobile settings. Manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions through your native iOS or Android privacy settings.

Disabling certain cookies — especially strictly necessary cookies — may affect how the Platform functions.

9. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Our web infrastructure is configured to recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and to treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for the browser or device on which it is enabled. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals, we treat GPC as our supported opt-out mechanism.

10. Do Not Sell or Share; Targeted-Advertising Opt-Out

Our use of advertising and affiliate technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out by enabling GPC, adjusting your cookie choices, or emailing us at privacy@sportshl.com. For full details of your rights and how to exercise them, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Data Security

Behavioral analytics and performance metrics collected through our tracking technologies are managed through cloud platforms protected by mandatory administrative multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access controls, consistent with the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy and our insurers’ risk-management requirements. SportsHL LLC does not sell, lease, or distribute your personal cookie data to independent data brokers or marketing clearinghouses.

12. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
